Building Blocks before- and after-school program serves students from the Wycallis Primary Center and the Dallas Intermediate School. Conveniently located in Wycallis, we provide a rewarding but convenient option for students and parents who need to extend their days with us, complete with tailored activities and a curriculum that separate us from traditional care providers.
A place for structured fun.
Drop off begins at 7 a.m. and includes welcome activities and a cozy area for those who want independent quiet time before the school day begins. The afternoons include a snack, brief but dedicated homework time, and several “learning through play” activities from which students can choose, including active time outside or in the gym. This approach provides structure while giving students a much needed break once the school day concludes. Final pick up is at 5:30 p.m.
A place for personal attention.
Ensuring personal attention and age-appropriate activities, students are placed in one of two pods: kindergarten, first, and second grades are in one, with third, fourth, and fifth grades in another.
